Story of monkeys (VANAR)-

If we talk about why vanar seva is important then we should know about another point of view, when Narayana took Ram incarnation, he requested all the Gods in heaven to take birth as monkeys to serve me, why monkeys? Once Devarshi Narada cursed lord Vishnu as, Narada said, you have humiliated me giving a monkey face in front of this whole assembly therefore I curse you, one day you will be surrounded by monkeys and you will need their help. Keshari, Sugreev, Angada, Nala, Neela etc they were all incarnation of different Gods from heaven to assist and serve lord Ram. Most of the Vanar Sena didn't die in battlefield because they were immortal drinking nectar. When lord Ram at the end, enter into river Saryu and quit his human body and appeared as four handed Vishnu form, in that time all these Vanara soldiers also left their bodies in river Saryu and returned to the heaven to their original position. Only Hanuman left behind, lord Vishnu said to Hanuman, please stay on earth till the end of Kali Yuga to help people, in Kali Yuga people will be degraded from path of religious principles that's why you stay on earth to help them. So we should help them and take a blessings from them.
